LUNAR LOTUS: A Fusion of Neo-Oriental Aesthetics and Contemporary Innovative Styling in Gift Box Design
"LUNAR LOTUS" symbolizes an exploration of Macau initiated from the moon. Centering on this theme, the design team employs a series of imaginative geometric motifs, trompe-l'œil techniques, and rotational symmetry to artfully integrate Macau's UNESCO World Heritage sites into the packaging. Chic, high-contrast color palettes redefine the brand's oriental allure and elegance. Bamboo is used as the primary material for gift boxes to highlight Mid-Autumn Festival traditions, while shopping bags are crafted from specially designed recycled paper. This project embodies a postmodern hybridity, intertwining youthful, trendy innovation with Chinese cultural heritage and Macau's historical landmarks, thereby fostering dynamic dialogues between neoclassical aesthetics and multicultural semiotics.
