The world under the microscope is really beautiful

    PHYTO is a health care product conceived by health expert and author Katia Narain Phillips and formulated by Michael Isted, a phytonutritionist at The Herbal. Through a carefully selected blend of plant and mushroom extracts, it helps us improve sleep, enhance concentration, and boost immunity. The product also has beauty benefits. The creative concept of PHYTO is to create a delightful expression with the dynamic interconnection of plants, science, and taste as the brand DNA.

    Regarding the design, the core of this packaging design is to convey to consumers the concept that PHYTO improves the human body at the cellular level. We magnified the cross-sections of a series of plant stems under a microscope and turned them into photographs. By showcasing the details, we convey the beauty and complexity of the cellular mixture and indirectly provide an experience of the ritualistic sense of plant vitality. We collaborated with a scientist specializing in taking microscopic photographs and selected those images whose shapes and styles can reflect the key ingredients of the product.

    On the back of the packaging and in the supplementary promotions, we designed a supplementary visual language to showcase the active ingredients through a symbol system. Each plant is arranged repeatedly in a stylized form to reflect the ingenuity of the product's preparation process at the cellular level.
